Can You Make Dinner with 4 Ingredients Or Less? I can!
As parents we’re BUSY! So finding time-savers and budget friendly meals for our family is probably a top priority for all of us. Eating out isn’t the healthiest, or the cheapest but sometimes it’s the quickest! That was until now…
I was recently introduced to an amazing cookbook that is a bestseller in both Australia and the UK and I can see it being a best seller here in the US as well. 4 Ingredients features HUNDREDS of yummy, time-saving and budget friendly recipes using four or fewer
ingredients!
The 4 Ingredients cookbook was written by two moms who (like most of us) wanted to save themselves time and money and not spend the majority of their day in the kitchen. Kim McCosker & Rachael Bermingham have outsold Jamie Oliver, Nigella Lawson and Gorden Ramsey with their 4 Ingredients cook book selling over two million copies to date!
This book is amazing! Who would have thought that you could make so many things with 4 (or less) ingredients?! Not only that, but they’ve made it so easy that they even reduced the number of cooking utensils required to make the meals, the only measuring utensils required to make any of the recipes in 4 Ingredients are 1 teaspoon, 1 tablespoon, and 1 cup.
4 Ingredients contains more than 400 recipes that range from breakfast, to lunch, to dinner, and everything in between. From Antipasto Tarts, to Carrot & Coriander soup, to Apricot Chicken, to Tandoori Lamb, and Orange & Almond Cake, each recipe is delicious and most importantly, simple!
One of my favorite recipes in the book is the Stuffed Chicken Breast…
Stuffed Chicken Breast
Ingredients
4 chicken breasts
100g feta cheese, cut into small pieces
8 pieces semi-dried tomatoes, chopped (reserve some oil)
1 tbs. freshly chopped tarragonMethod
Using a long, thin knife and keeping the opening narrow, cut a pocket into the chicken breast (careful not to cut through), mix together cheese, tomatoes and tarragon, fill pockets with mixture and secure with toothpicks. Rub each breast generously with the oil from the tomatoes, and pan-fry for 20 minutes or until cooked through.Optional: Sensational served with a rocket salad.
Serves 4
Never mind that there’s a ton of other recipes I’m just itching to try! And when your down to those last few items of groceries before a pay check or shopping trip, this book helps out tremendously!
You can check out 4 Ingredients by visiting their website 4ingredients.com.au or purchase the book via Amazon.com.

One lucky reader will have a chance to win a copy of 4 Ingredients for themselves.
