Hubby works retail, I don’t know how many times he’s come home complaining about his feet being sore. Working 8-12 hr days standing on your feet all day probably isn’t the most comfortable thing to be doing. He’s tried so many different inserts/insoles for his shoes, and none of them ever hold to the test of standing on his feet for that long, until now.
We recently had the chance to check out the Dr. Scholl’s Custom Fit Orthotic Inserts, we’ve seen these in the store before, you know along those cool machines? But at a $50 price point, we didn’t want to even attempt to try them out, but boy, hubby is wishing he did sooner because the price is SO WORTH IT!
Dr. School’s Custom Fit Orthotic Inserts can be found at most of your local retail stores near their Footmapping Technology machines. I’m sure you’ve seen these machines before, you stand on them (without your shoes on) and it identifies the areas where you apply the most pressure on your foot as well as your arch type, then 2,000 sensors calculate your measurements and it recommends the right Custom Fit Orthotic Insert that will best fit your feet. Hubby did it before we got our inserts and it only took a few minutes.
He’s been raving about these inserts, telling me they’re so comfortable, his feet don’t hurt, his knees don’t hurt at the end of the day, it makes standing all day bearable! The Custom Fit Orthotics are only ¾ length so it doesn’t fit your entire foot, and it’s not supposed to, we were a little unsure about how a ¾ insert would feel, but hubby said it’s comfortable and you can’t even tell.
The thing is, Dr. School’s Custom Fit Orthotic Inserts aren’t your normal everyday drugstore insoles for your shoes, these are comparable to high end custom Orthotic inserts, so there is a big difference, and the price is much cheaper than a pair of custom Orthotic’s you’d get made elsewhere. Plus there’s no wait, you can pick them up as soon as you’ve done your scan.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Dr. Scholl’s and received a Custom Fit Orthotics from Dr. Scholl’s to facilitate my review.
