I remember when the start of digital scrapbooking came around. I had a close friend who got very into it, started even designing herself and made herself a store and a good living off of it.
When it first started out, it seems that in any message board or forum you were a part of, someone had some digital signature with some digital scrapbooking. I’ll admit, even I tried to get into the designing of it for a while.
Personally though, I haven’t had much luck in the design department, and truthfully, I’m not even really into scrapbooking much at all. I’ve tried, the traditional way, the digital way, but either I’m just not creative enough, or well, I’m just not creative enough. Plus I simply don’t have the time with everything else I do.
I do however browse around digital scrapbooking sites quite often and buy things, I use them more for birthday invites, Christmas cards and even have used designs for blog designs in the past (with permission of course).
Digital scrapbooking makes things a lot easier for scrapbookers. You can do everything on your own computer, and print the page off directly to your printer. No need to head to a craft store and buy a billion different items and find somewhere to store them. Nope, all you need is a creative mind, photos, some software (even paint or Microsoft word will work) and a printer, you’re all set to embark on your digital scrapbooking adventure!
Do you scrapbook?
