Stand Up! With Carolina Pad and The Humane Society *Giveaway*
A lot of you may not know how big of an animal lover I am, we visit the animal shelter almost weekly around here, and if I could, I’d bring home just about every cat and dog I could legally house in my home.
In our home, we currently have 2 cats. Both adopted. Dash our male who’s 9 and Cinnamon our female who’s 8. We adopted them both when they were kittens. Dash we got to basically keep me company when I first moved in with my husband as I was pretty home sick being away from home (Canada) and he was at work most of the day. Once I started working, we got Cinnamon to basically keep Dash company!
I also have a dog back home who now lives with my parents, Talon who is 11 he’s a Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie Mix. He however was not adopted but I take pride it rescuing him from the icky pet store!
Right now, we’re in the thought process of bringing a puppy into our home soon, and we know for sure it will be an adopted one. I’m a big advocate for adopting pets rather than ‘buying’ them. If you have never been to an animal shelter, it’s a good wake-up call to how many animals are out there who need homes.
Carolina Pad is also an advocate for pet adoptions and have teamed up with The Humane Society and created a line of products called Stand Up! All of these products have the Humane Society logo featured on them, so you know, that when you purchase something from the Stand Up! Collection you’re also supporting the Humane Society.

vinyl binders that promote Mission Humane which is a nationwide movement of young people who are working together to help animals where they need it most. Messages on the collection include “Love”, “Respect” and “Speak Out” which gives positive messages to young people who will use them. Perfect for this upcoming school year!
Mission Humane allows students who want to make a difference for animals to stand up and take action! They can participate in community service projects that take a stand against issues such as puppy mills, animal abuse and cruelty, farm animal protection, wildlife and even the fur-trade, to date over 2,000 projects have been completed!

I have adopted a pet before! When I was little, my mom took us to the pet shelter to get an adult kitty. As we were looking at healthy ones, I saw a kitty that had a disability because her front paws were twisted in different ways. She had been at the shelter almost a year and in 10 days, they were gonna euthanize her. We took her home. And ever since, I have been saving kitties from meeting the Grim Reaper.

We are currently considering adopting a puppy.
Our spoiled little dog is 8 years old and he loves to play with other dogs. He has a couple of playmates that come to play on a regular basis.
Since I am now working out of my home office, I have the time to devote to two dogs.
Now, we just have to find the right puppy at the shelter!

I’ve always adopted from humane societys or rescue groups. My dog right now is almost 5 and I’ve had her since she was 4 mos old. She was rescued from a puppy mill!

I have adopted. I have a cat now that I adopted. When I was younger I worked at a vet and I ended up getting a few kittens because someone left them. They were only a day or two old.
