Hey guys! I know my readers are from all around the world, but with this post, I wanted to focus just on those readers who are in my own local area.

I’m super excited to announce that I’ve partnered with Deal Co-Op and have launched DealMoms Toledo! DealMoms Toledo is a posting of ‘Groupon like’ deals specifically in the Toledo and surrounding area. I’ll be offering amazing deals from local businesses to families in our community.

Here’s how I got involved: I was approached by Melissa who heads up the Greenlake Moms site and talked to her a bit about how she had started a local moms ‘daily deal’ store in her own small community and how it’s worked out. I was intrigued by it, and decided it would be a great way to feature more local businesses so DealMoms Toledo was born. As soon as we hit 500 e-mail subscribers the first deal will be launched!! If there’s a business that you know about and would love to see us put out an offer just let me know! Or if you are a local business who would like to be involved please contact me.

Toledo used to be a great growing city, and it’s sad to see some of the local neighborhood businesses not gaining much traffic so my goal is to provide them with local consumers who will come back again and again after discovering them for the first time on DealMoms Toledo. 90% of the deals will be from the Toledo area and the focus will be to find businesses, services and attractions that are great for moms and families!
