I can’t believe it’s been a little over a month that I’ve had the opportunity to try out the Total Gym XLS! So far, so good.. I’m LOVING IT!! Although, I haven’t been using it as much as I’d like, summer time is the worst! But when I can get on it, and use it, it motivates me even more to continue with the exercise and healthy eating.
One of my favorite exercises is the leg stretches and the times I use the Ab Crunch accessory. Using the leg pulley stretches out my legs and feels so good! It looks like something that may hurt, and you think there’ s no way my legs are going to stretch that far, but you’d be amazed what your body can do. It definitely helps out with flexibility!
The Ab Crunch accessory really helps me out on the part that needs it most. My stomach! The exercises are HARD! No way are they easy, but I find I feel the burn more doing the exercises on my Ab Crunch than I do using say an exercise ball, or ab roller to do crunches.

I haven’t seen as much progress as I’d like, but that’s not saying that its because of the Total Gym not working, no way no how! It’s more because of user error and lack of time to use it. Even though, all I need is a quick 15 minutes and I can get a great workout in, I’ve been slacking and lazy all summer!
But, here’s my public promise to myself, and to my readers, especially to those who have told me I’ve motivated them, lately I haven’t so my promise is that even once my Total Gym Total Mom challenge is over at week 8, I’m going to continue with the weekly updates, weight loss progress, healthy eating tips, and even get my measurements in! Once we’re back on track schedule wise in this house, I’m back on track with my goal for myself! To get fit, healthy and to 145lbs!!
