Easy Homemade Cinnamon Rolls
As probably about 98% of you are, I too am addicted to Pinterest! I’ve found so many great and yummy recipes, motivation, ideas etc. and I don’t think my addiction is going to stop anytime soon.
The other day I found a great, easy recipe for Homemade Cinnamon Rolls from Live A Little Wilder and considering I had most of the ingredients, I decided to try it out for a special morning breakfast treat for everyone.
Because of my own dietary restrictions, I did tweak the original recipe so here’s my version.
Homemade Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients:
1 can of refrigerated crescent rolls
4 Tbsp. Margarine
1/2 cup of Stevia and Splenda Brown Sugar (together just halved each)
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
Glaze:
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine Margarine, Stevia/Spenda Brown Sugar blend and cinnamon into a bowl. Mix until smooth.
Open your crescent rolls and add your mixture generously into the crescent roll and then roll them up. Put your rolls on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until brown.
As your rolls are cooking combine your glaze ingredients into a bowl. Once your rolls come out of the oven, drizzle some of your glaze on top.
I however didn’t add glaze to all of them since I don’t have a substitute for powdered sugar, and they were just as yummy! To check out the original version of these easy cinnamon rolls head over to Live A Little Wilder.
