I can admit, my kids are technology junkies! Computers, tablets, video games, tv… You name it… I’ve come to realize that it’s time to start cutting down on some of those things, and give some time limits. But alas, they like it and it’s something that’s not going to go away, so when I find some more interesting games that can keep their brains working, I jump on it!
Poptropica Adventures is one of the newer games they’ve received for their Nintendo DS. Poptropica includes their brains in playing the game by visiting an ancient world, traveling and puzzles. Kids can also create their own avatar that they can dress and give ‘personality’ to.
The Poptropica museum is in ruins and needs your help! Explore three amazing islands and find missing artifacts to help restore the museum to its former glory. Meet interesting characters, collect artifacts, solve puzzles and play mini games in the ultimate on-the-go Poptropica experience!! Looking to stand out in a crowd ? Customize the look of your avatar with new clothes, hats, hair styles and more and show off your own unique Poptropica style!
Poptropica Adventures is rated E for Everyone. My girls are 7 and 9 and both have a good time with the game. It’s not as ‘exciting’ as some of their other ones, but they still like it.
You can also visit the virtual world of Poptropica online with your kids at poptropica.com.
Purchase Poptropica Adventures for Nintendo DS at various retailers including Amazon.com.
Ubisoft provided me with Poptropica Adventures for my review. Please visit Ubi.com to learn more about Ubisoft. I am a member of UbiChamps from Clever Girls Collective. #UbiChamps
