Starting October 1st, WWE will be raising awareness with their “Rise Above Cancer” campaign. October is breast cancer awareness month, and although I have been fortunate enough not to have any experience with my friends, family or even myself, as a woman, I highly support this foundation. We never know when someone we know, or even ourselves may be stricken with breast cancer.
With John Cena out on injury this year, he won’t be an outward supporter every week, but we all know where his heart is on this campaign. Because of his lack of absence all of the other WWE Superstars want YOU to know that they want everyone to “Rise Above Cancer” as they all support the cause wearing pink wrestling gear in the ring for the month of October.
Check out some of the Diva’s that hit the pavement for the 2013 Susan G. Komen Global Race for the Cure. Additionally you can also purchase special “Pink” merchandise on wweshop.com from your favorite superstars such as R-Truth, Zack Ryder, Fandango, Prime Time Players and more… Check out some of the amazing merchandise.
To help celebrate WWE and the Susan G. Komen “Rise Above Cancer” campaign the WWEMoms will be hosting a twitter party October 1, 2013 at 7:00pm ET.
