The kiddos have been back to school for over a month now, which means I’ve been packing lunches five days a week for both of the girls. It’s very rare that I’ll let them buy lunch from school, have you ever seen that stuff? Nasty processed unhealthy food. No matter how many times they try to spin it as being healthy, it’s not! There’s no freshness to it, there’s no real meat, there’s no good fruits or veggies or good carbs!
So, I choose to have both the girls pack their lunch, which also means finding good containers to put them in. Thermos sent me some of their new products to test out, and we’ve been doing that since school started.
Thermos sent us the pink FUNtainer food jar, and a really cute floral insulated lunch bag, which was great, until our dog got a hold of it and tore it to shreds.
So, no photo of the lunch bag, unless you’d like to see the torn up version. My youngest daughter loved the insulated lunch bag, it kept things cold and it was easy to fit the pink FUNtainer inside along with other containers that she would carry with her for lunch, including her drink. This bag had a ton of room in it, I’m going to be purchasing another one, and soon!
The pink FUNtainer is a hit with both of my girls, they’ve been able to store hot and cold lunches in there and have them stay that way until their lunch hour. The FUNtainer has held noodles, soup, fruit, frozen grapes and more… It’s very versitile in what it can hold, and it really does keep things warm or cold!
We found that chilling or warming the jar before you place the food in it works even better to keep your food hot (or cold) until lunch. The pink FUNtainer food jar has Thermos® vacuum insulation technology for maximum temperature retention, hot or cold, it is made with Unbreakable stainless steel and has an extra wide mouth is easy to fill, eat from and clean. The FUNtainer has a 10oz capacity.
My kids have various items for lunch, but the Thermos brand is by far our favorite and best held up product. We’ve had no problems so far (besides the dog tearing up the bag) and the girls just love the products.
