It’s time for some fun and sun, BBQ’s, Festivities and Fireworks! The 4th of July is almost upon us, what will you be doing to celebrate?

Bowling Green – BGSU Intramural Field 10 p.m. Fireworks Display

Findlay- Hancock County Fairgrounds  10 p.m. Fireworks Display

Maumee & Perrysburg – near Fort Meigs State Memorial 10 p.m. Fireworks Display

Monroe County- over Lake Erie, Sterling State Park (2800 State Park Rd) 9:45 p.m. Fireworks Display

Sylvania- Centennial Terrace, dusk Fireworks Display

Friday, July 4
Napoleon- Glenwood Park, 10 p.m. Fireworks Display

Oregon- Oak Shade Grove, dusk Fireworks Display

Port Clinton – Water Works Park, dusk Fireworks Display

Put-in-Bay- over the downtown harbor (Bay View Ave), dusk Fireworks Display

Sandusky – Cedar Point Amusement Park, dusk Fireworks Display

Toledo – Red, White KABOOM! Promenade Park, dusk Fireworks Display

Waterville – Waterville Primary School, 10 p.m. Fireworks Display

Adrian: Parade, 10 a.m., from downtown to the Lenawee County Fair and Event Grounds, where there will be food, a fair, and fireworks at dusk. Admission is $2 to enter the fairgrounds. Camping is available. Phone: 517-263-3007.

Bryan: Kiwanis Club breakfast, 7 to 11 a.m., in the hangar at the Williams County Airport. Plane rides offered.

Fremont: Parade, 5 p.m., from Birchard Park area on Croghan Street to entrance of Rodger Young Park. Fireworks, dusk, at Rodger Young Park.

Lakeside:Parade, 10:30 a.m., from Perry Park. Food and entertainment. Fireworks, dusk, at Perry Park.

Maumee/Perrysburg: Fireworks, 10 p.m. Thursday, from the Maumee-Perrysburg bridge. Also in Perrysburg, activities for children, 5 p.m., in the 100 block of East Wayne Street.

Napoleon: Games and prizes, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Napoleon Community Band Concert, 8 p.m., at Glenwood Park. Fireworks, 10 p.m., at Glenwood Park.

Port Clinton: Parade, 3 p.m., on Jefferson Street. Community Band concert and ice cream social, 4 p.m. Live DJ, 5:30 p.m., at Waterworks Park. Fireworks, dusk, at Waterworks Park.

Sandusky: Stars and Stripes Celebration, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in Washington Park and downtown Sandusky. Fireworks, 10 p.m., courtesy of Cedar Point.

Sylvania: Star Spangled Banner Celebration, Thursday, 7 p.m. to midnight, at Centennial Terrace, 5773 Centennial Rd. Fireworks, 10 p.m., at Centennial Terrace. Dancing, food, rides, activities. Admission, $5 adult, $3 child. Parking, $5. Phone: 419-882-1500.

Toledo: The Toledo Blade s Red, White & Kaboom with Taste Toledo, Toledo s premier Fourth of July weekend celebration featuring food, music and fireworks. The two-day celebration will feature the Battle of the Bands semi-finalists and Friday night fireworks at dusk
