Being Italian, soccer tends to run in our blood. My oldest daughter has got that soccer fever running through her veins, she just loves playing it. My brother takes the time to teach her some great skills, and she heads out onto that field and gets physical when she needs to. Spring and Fall it’s all about soccer in our house.
With the world cup going on, we’ve had soccer fever this summer as well, although Italy didn’t continue on to the finals, we had fun while it lasted.
With soccer, comes snacks. Usually a parent is responsible each week to bring something for the kids to refuel on after the game. A lot of times, soccer also includes fundraising. Equipment and uniforms aren’t cheap!
There’s a new program called Ritz Bits Snack For Your Champion Program and they have paired up with PearUp.com to use social networking to help teams raise funds.
PearUp.com is a social engagement platform. Your group can earn sponsorships through both local and national brands at no cost, yes that’s right, FREE! Pear launched in 2012 and began as a product launched by Apparel Media Group which is now a subsidiary of CostomInk, a 1,000+ person company that provides custom apparel and related solutions to millions of groups and occasions.
Team members complete digital steps on behalf of Ritz Bits that earn them dollars. You can like Ritz Bitz on Facebook, follow them on Instagram, or sign up for emails, it’s totally up to you, but for each step a team member completes, they get dollars towards their goals. The more tasks done, the more dollars you earn!
At the end of the 10 day period, the group leaders can claim an online certificate for the amount earned that is redeemable at any Pear printer, or a check can be made out to the individual in charge of financial’s for the team.
Ritz Bitz is always a great snacks for kids before, after or even on an off game day. And with their help with PearUp.com, they’ll continue to fuel kids who are passionate about soccer. Take some time to create a Pear for your own team, or help another one out by visiting www.pearup.com.
