Having kids can be scary, I’m not talking about raising them, financially affording them or even parenting correctly. What I’m talking about is the havoc that childbirth can do on a woman’s body. It sucks, plain and simple. Would I give it all up to not have kids and have the body I had before, that functioned properly? Absolutely NOT! I love my girls, and love that I have them, but that’s the breaks, you have kids, you have some things that just don’t work quite the same anymore, and that includes your bladder.
Light bladder leakage is a huge problem for women, especially after having kids, but I’ll be honest, it’s also a problem when you’re a diabetic like me. I pee, A LOT, multiple times through the day, normally it’s more when my sugar is a bit too high, but it really doesn’t help when you already have a little bit of an issue of bladder leakage.
We travel a lot as a family, going multiple places, the last thing I want while traveling is an “oops moment” so I rely on making sure I can have a “Poise Moment” instead. Light leaks are no joke, whether I be traveling, walking or working out, the last thing I want is an unwelcomed surprise due to a cough, sneeze or just a movement. Sure, this is a personal problem, but it’s one many women have, and one we should talk about.
I make sure, that no matter what, I can go on about my everyday life without worry, thanks to Poise Pads that I can purchase at Kroger. At the gym, I don’t have to worry about running away from the issue, I can get my sweat on, and workout in without the worry of an “Oops Moment” happening to me, especially in a public place.
Light Bladder leakage didn’t just happen, in fact, it didn’t start happening to me until this year, that’s a whole 12 years after the birth of my first child, and 10 years after the birth of my 2nd. I tend to think since becoming a diabetic, and having to just go a lot more my wall broke down and said, lady, you’re lucky you went this far…. Poise has come about and has been a life saver in so many different situations.
I remember laughing at my mom, when she had this issue many years ago. She laughed too hard and BOOM, and “Oops Moment” and we (as kids of course) laughed our heads off. Thanks to Poise, my kids won’t have to endure that moment when I exclaim “shoot, I pee’d a little” because I have the discreet protection on my side.
Don’t worry about thinking everyone will know, Poise has size options for everyone, but also has the thin shaped pads which are perfect for being discreet, as well as comfortable, clean and fresh. I’ll always have an extra on hand in my bag to carry with me at all times!
Light Bladder Leakage is something that no one talks about, it’s time that we stand up as women, and help each other acknowledge that yes, it happens, you’re not the only one with that problem, and there’s a way to help. If you have bladder leakage head to your local Kroger store and check out the Poise Thin Shaped Pads that can be worn daily, while allowing you to feel confident, clean and comfortable.
