It’s always a great time of year for Wrestling fans, it’s getting down to Wrestlemania time! That means a ton of activities are going on, or coming up, and that includes something for the younger fans. The Wrestlemania Reading Challenge!
WWE and First Book have been doing the Wrestlemania Reading Challenge for a few years now and that includes 2016. This year, a sweepstakes contest and social media campaign has set forth to encourage kids and their families to read together.
In honor of Wrestlemania 32, WWE is donating 32,000 books to the Dallas area (where Wrestlemania is being held). WWE is asking kids and their families to sit down and read together for just 15 minutes every day, once you’ve done that, simply visit wrestlemaniareadingchallenge.com and enter the contest. Entrants will enter the amount of minutes they read that day and share on social media that they’ve taken the reading challenge.
There will be two grand prizes and 10 second prizes that include things like a replica WWE World Heavyweight Championship title! You can find the complete contest details and rules by visiting wwereads.com.
The challenge has already started and runs through Friday, Feb. 19th so there’s still time!
Teachers, are you in the Dallas area and interested in getting involved? Your encouraged to submit a “book wish” to Fist Book and be entered to win books from WWE for classrooms and programs until Feb. 19th. One school will be selected to receive a visit from WWE Superstars, a reading celebration and a 1,000 book donation to their school!
