WWE and Fatherhood.gov #MakeAMoment to be a Fatherhood #Hero – #WWEMoms

WWE and Fatherhood.gov

Father’s Day is this upcoming Sunday, but what does it take to be a Father? Sure, lots of men out there can be dads, but it’s the ones that play an active role in their children’s lives that have the privilege of being a Father.

WWE has partnered up with Fatherhood.gov again this year to honor all of the Father’s around the word who take the time out, to be active participants in their children’s lives. WWE wants to encourage dads to recognize how much of a role they play in their children’s lives and for those who maybe need it, give them some tips on how to be more involved.

This month, you’ll see WWE Superstars in nationwide campaigns to generate awareness of the commitment it takes to be a Father. WWE Superstars will let the audience know “It Takes A Moment To Make A Moment” and how to be a Superstar and Hero making an impact in their child’s life.

Even the busiest dads can take a moment to make an impact with their children. I couldn’t ask for a better Father for my girls than my husband. He works so hard to make sure we have everything we want, and although may not have the hours in at home that he does at work, when he is home, he gives the girls the attention they need. Whether they need a good pep talk, need some discipline, help with homework, or if they just need Daddy time which means goofing off and playing around, Rodney is there for the girls. How many Fathers do you know would play with Barbie Dolls??

Studies tell us that children with involved, loving fathers are significantly more likely to do well in school, have better self-esteem, exhibit empathy and pro-social behavior. I can attest to all of the above when it comes to my own girls!

To date, the Fatherhood Involvement campaign has reached more than $193 million in donated media. Please visit Fatherhood.gov or call 1-877-4-DAD-411 to get information on how to become more involved in your children’s lives, get parenting tips, and find fatherhood programs and resources. You can also find Fatherhood.gov on Facebook and Twitter.

To all the Father’s out there, hope you have a HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!
