Pens, Pencils and Highlighters OH MY!

The amount of basic school supplies can be a bit overwhelming, I just got my girls school supply list from the school 24 pencils, 20 glue sticks… YIKES!! We’re always looking for more ways to contribute to our children’s education. School fundraisers are one big part of making re we can raise money for school and keep our children engaged in their education.

We have various programs, events and things we do at my girls school to help raise funds, one of them is collecting Box Tops. On just about any elementary school supply list you’ll see the same thing. A package of #2 pencils, that’s right, boring old pencils… But your pencils don’t have to be boring anymore thanks to the Smencils!

Back To School can be a scary time for some kids, my own included. My youngest is heading to school for the very first time and entering Kindergarten, she’s nervous and scared to say the least, so I’m trying to make it a positive experience as best I can starting with her school supplies.

Wow, it’s hard to believe it’s that time of year already. Summer vacation is coming to an end, and it’s time for all of that back to school shopping.

Back To School is a big event in our home, especially when it’s my youngests first year of school and she’s heading to Kindergarten! So I wanted to make back to school a big event on my blog as well and will be hosting “Back To School with A Wrestling Addicted Mommy”.
