Pop’s new original docu-comedy series Hollywood darlings premieres Wednesday, April 12, 8/7c. This new series stars three child TV stars who were on popular sitcoms during the ‘90s. Jodie Sweetin (“Full House”), Christine Lakin (“Step By Step”) and Beverley Mitchell (“7th Heaven”) are followed through the show and play exaggerated versions of themselves in their current lives. Not only are they friends but this squad encourages and supports one another when it comes to careers, parenting, marriage and friendship.
The three actresses, who are friends in real life, issued a joint statement following the announcement of the series expressing their enthusiasm.
“Our childhood characters prepared us for the roles of our lives. There really aren’t words to describe the way we grew up and the bond we share, so we decided that we wanted to give a glimpse into our unique sisterhood,” they said. “Our fans have always been at the heart of it all, and we love that we have found a home on Pop. We’re so excited to go on this journey and take people inside our lives post-childhood fame.”

It’s fall, that means some new shows are coming our way to watch while we’re indoors, cuddled up and staying warm. There’s a lot of shows to watch this coming fall and winter season, but one not to miss, at least in our household will is Timeless.
NBC brings us this great new series called Timeless which airs Monday’s at 10pm ET (9 CT) and is about 3 people who travel back in time in order to keep a terrorist from ruining history. Eric Kripke (Revoultion, Supernatural) and Shawn Ryan (The Shield) as well as the producers of The Blacklist bring you this action adventure series.
A mysterious criminal steals a state of the art time machine and wants to destroy America as we know it today, by changing the past. A team of people that include a scientist, soldier and history professor use the prototype of the machine in order to travel back in time to critical events. The issue is they cannot affect the past themselves so they must stay ahead of the terrorist. The cast includes Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, Goran Visnjic, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffery and Claudia Doumit.
The show is actually really good, at least the pilot episode that I was able to see was. Very interesting! If you’d like to see a clip of the show check it out below:
Monday’s episode is titled “The Assassination of Abraham Lincoln”. Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus chase the terrorist to the night of Lincoln’s assassination, where they’re horrified to learn that Flynn’s linked up with history’s most notorious assassin, John Wilkes Booth. Putting aside a tragedy of her own, Lucy speculates that Flynn intends to send the fragile nation into chaos by making a bad thing worse, and a debate rages among the team: should they alter history if it means changing it for the better? Tune in this Monday October 10th at 10/9c on NBC!
I hope this show sticks around for a long while, it’s a great, fun, family show that all can enjoy!

The companies are co-financing and producing the movie which is expected to release in 2017, in time for the original films’ 10th anniversary. Surf’s Up 2: WaveMania will be distributed by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment with WWE Studios providing marketing support by leveraging its extensive multi-platform reach.

There’s a lot to be looking forward to this season, if you didn’t watch tonight, check out the sneak peek of the episode below.
Tonight was a special 90-minute episode that featured one of the contestants dealing with ear pain, which resulted in a bug being in their ear (EW!). The contestants are in Cambodia on an island called Kaôh Rōng and the theme this season is “Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty”. As usual the contestants will battle harsh conditions and crazy weather resulting in one of the most grueling and physical seasons in the show’s history.
Each of the three tribes consist of 6 castaways that have similar characteristics which make their own tribe unique, be it high IQ, muscular physique or physical looks. Each tribe will be tested to see if there is any truth behind the talk that only certain people win Survivor.
The contestants this season include a former NBA champion, an Army veteran, a bounty hunter, an ER doctor, FBI agent, pro poker player, a Survivor superfan and a quantitative strategist.

Last year was the very first time we ever attended Monster Jam. Being as we’re a family of mostly girls (minus my hubby) it’s not really a thing we were ever big into, but we had the chance to go, and thought we’d take it, try something new. I’m so glad we did, we had a TON of fun!!
It’s crazy seeing these trucks go through their tricks, obstacles and driving around the track, crashing things, crushing things, and sometimes even themselves. Monster Jam is coming BACK to the Toledo Area to the Huntington Center March 4-6th.
Monster Jam® is blasting into 2016 with a new 10-city arena based, points-paying Monster Jam endurance showcase, featuring the biggest and best lineup of Monster Jam trucks highlighted by more of what the fans want to see…more racing, more freestyle, more donuts, more wheelies, more trucks, more action…#MoreMonsterJam!.
These select markets will also be treated to new competition vehicles such as extreme Monster Jam Speedsters and Monster Jam ATVs as they rip through the arenas during combative racing action. Headlining the tour will be eight of the best Monster Jam trucks and eight of the fiercest athletes competing against one another and against each Monster Jam branded trio of vehicles, to earn valuable points during each new event discipline.
How Monster Jam Events Work:
– At Monster Jam, monster trucks face off in two different forms of competition — side-by-side racing and freestyle:
Side-by-side racing – traditional bracket racing, where the first truck, with the least amount of penalties, crosses the finish line is declared the winner
Freestyle competition – allows drivers a limited amount of time on the open floor to show off their skills. In this category, the fans serve as the judge
– 2007 was the 25 year anniversary for the Grave Digger Team
– More than 4 million Monster Jam fans attend events each year worldwide
– The World Finals in Las Vegas, NV brings 24 of the top trucks in the world to compete for the World Freestyle and – – Racing Championships. Competitors are by invitation only.
– A monster truck race team will travel 45,000 Miles / 72,400 kilometers a year by land to attend events.
– Typical monster trucks cost $600,000 yearly to build, staff, compete, transport and maintain on the Monster Jam tour.
– Steel body full-size cars are the vehicles typically crushed during a monster truck event.
– Cars, as well as vans, buses, motor homes, airplanes and ambulances, are attained from local junkyards and returned after each event.
– Average number of cars crushed per year: 3,000
Opening Night tickets are just $15 – No code needed! Kids tickets start at $10 – no code needed. You can purchase tickets at ticketmaster.com.
Disclaimer: Weekday is defined as any show Monday through Thursday or Friday matinee. Discount does not apply to Rinkside, Front Row, or VIP seats. No double discounts. Service charges, handling, and facility fees may apply. Child discount applies for ages 2-12.
Honestly, if you’ve never been, try it out, it’s a lot more fun than you might think. It’s super loud, but exciting, and you’re in luck because I’m giving away a family 4 pack of tickets to the show at The Huntington Center in Toledo on March 4th at 7:00pm.
