Stone Cold, Entourage and more coming up for WWE…

Written by lyricsmama on May 21, 2015 – 10:56 AM -

wwerawentourage

WWE has been heavily working their behinds off lately to bring us some great content on WWE Network. I’ve been glued to some of the newer shows that go a little bit ‘behind the scenes’ and let us into the WWE Superstars lives a little more. I’ve been loving the Stone Cold Podcasts and Jericho interviews as well.

This coming Monday May 25 at 8/7C on USA Network, we will be entertained not only buy the usual WWE Superstars during Monday Night Raw, but also the cast of the new Entourage movie will be guests as well. That includes Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara.

Entourage, the much-anticipated, big-screen version of the award-winning hit HBO series, reunites the hit show’s original cast, led by Connolly, Grenier, Dillon, Ferrara and Jeremy Piven. Movie star Vincent Chase (Grenier), together with his boys, Eric (Connolly), Turtle (Ferrara) and Johnny (Dillon), are back…and back in business with super agent-turned-studio head Ari Gold (Piven). Some of their ambitions have changed, but the bond between them remains strong as they navigate the capricious and often cutthroat world of Hollywood.

Then, we’re in for a big treat the next week. Immediately following Raw on Monday, June 1 at 11 p.m. ET on the award-winning WWE Network, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin will host another Stone Cold Podcast, Live!, a no-holds-barred, in-your-face interview series, however, as we had seen before this Podcast will now be a monthly thing on the network. Beginning Monday, June 1 at 11 p.m. ET on the award-winning WWE Network, Stone Cold Steve Austin will interview special guest Paul Heyman.

Here’s a clip from Austin’s interview with WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon from December, 2014.

Another clip from his interview with WWE Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative Paul “Triple H” Levesque from February, 2015.

This is a must see show on WWE Network for any wrestling fan, and I’m really appreciating seeing the WWE Superstars in a ‘real light’ of sorts. For more information on how you can subscribe to WWE Network visit WWE.com.

ESPN’s “WWE: Behind the Curtain” Airs May 5th #WWEMoms

Written by lyricsmama on May 4, 2015 – 10:02 PM -

espn-wwe

One thing I love watching when it comes to WWE, is to see behind the scenes. To see the WWE Superstars in their real life, learning about who they are behind the character they play on TV.

I love watching the many superstar DVDs, watching WWE 24 on the WWE Network, it gives the fans an inside look at their favorite WWE Superstars, which is why I can’t wait until tomorrow night (May 5th) to watch E:60 Pictures: “WWE: Behind-The-Curtain” at 8pm ET.

If you can, turn in to ESPN tomorrow to watch a behind-the-scenes one-hour documentary that will feature the making of a WWE Superstar!

You will be following three potential Superstars on their journey starting at NXT to the main stage, WWE. Also included in WWE: Behind-The-Curtain is interviews with WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon as well as WWE Executive Vice President Paul Levesque (Triple H) and other WWE Superstars including Hall of Famers like Hulk Hogan, The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Wrestling fan or not, this is a great look into the lives of the WWE and WWE Superstars, not something to be missed. Tune into ESPN at 8pm ET on May 5.

Join WWE and NBCUniversal For The Hero In All Of Us Campaign

Written by lyricsmama on April 17, 2015 – 1:27 PM -

for the hero

As we all know, WWE is more than just wrestling. In fact, it’s more than just entertainment. WWE is very into getting involved with their fans, and the community and helping out where they can be it bringing to light breast exams with Susan G. Komen, visiting the troops overseas, or helping out with an anti-bullying campaign with Be A STAR. WWE and their superstars are all about what more they can do besides entertaining us.

WWE and NBCUniversal have come together to air “For The Hero In All Of Us” which will be shown across NBCUniversal’s two different broadcast networks, 17 cable channels and more than 50 other digital properties, that’s in addition to the platforms WWE uses as well.

By using the #MyHerois hastag the WWE Universe can tell WWE and NBCUniversal as well as other fans, who their favorite WWE Superstar is as well as share stories heroism either that they have personally encountered or that they know of. Advertisers are also encouraged to work with NBCUniversal and WWE in a way to reach new audiences and platforms. There are larger ways advertisers can combine with NBCUniversal, WWE and their audience as well as having access to many of the WWE Superstars and Diva’s for campaigns.

Who is your hero?  Is it a WWE Superstar?  I can tell you, although I’m personally not a huge John Cena fan, if I had to pick a hero, it would be him.  Why?  Because he’s helped me to better my health, he’s helped me to see how to get healthier in my life, with his Changetime program, John Cena is my hero.  Check out the #MyHeroIs hashtag on twitter, and check out who other fans heroes are, as well as who some of the WWE Superstars have as a hero.

If you are not currently a WWE fan, you may not know how valued the company is within the community, with the help of NBCUniversal it can now be knows how family friendly and how involved WWE is to families, communities and more.

There’s already been an advantage for different advertisers that you may not have thought would be working with WWE, take the “Champions of Fatherhood” series and the “Heroes of Tomorrow” campaign, things you may have not thought WWE was involved in.

FREE WWE Network, Extreme Rules, Tough Enough and more from WWE this April!

Written by lyricsmama on April 17, 2015 – 7:29 AM -

wweextremerules

April is a busy month for WWE and WWE fans! First off, WWE is offering WWE Network to new subscribers for FREE this month! That’s right, if you have not yet checked out WWE Network now is your chance to do so. Not only do you get original WWE programming and tons of matches to watch all month, but you also get this month’s PPV event Extreme Rules!

Normally WWE Network is just $9.99 (in the USA) but if you have not yet subscribed this month you can get for FREE, and the great thing, there’s no commitment, so you can cancel at any time!

Speaking of Extreme Rules, this is one PPV event I’m excited for, not only because it’s going to be amazing but because thanks to WWE I’ll be there LIVE in Chicago at All State Arena representing the WWEMoms! If you don’t have the network, now’s your time to get it so you can at least spot me in the crowd!

Tough Enough 2015

This month WWE also announced the return of Tough Enough June 23rd. If your not familiar with Tough Enough, this is another WWE reality show where participants go through training and competitions to win a contract with the WWE. This will be the 5th season of Tough Enough and will be revived on the USA network and paired with WWE Raw. Think you have what it takes to be a WWE Superstar? You can apply for Tough Enough 2015 on the USA Network’s website here. You can also catch up on the past seasons of Tough Enough on WWE Network, where you will see some familiar Superstars.

WWE has also announced this month that in 2016 Smackdown will be moving to the USA Network! That means both Raw and Smackdown will be hosted on the same network. I told you, it’s been a busy month for WWE and fans….

xaviersign

Now I’m getting my mind going, and thinking about just what sign I’ll be bringing to Extreme Rules! Any suggestions? Watch for the sign on April 26th at Extreme Rules on WWE Network.
