Join WWE and NBCUniversal For The Hero In All Of Us Campaign

for the hero

As we all know, WWE is more than just wrestling. In fact, it’s more than just entertainment. WWE is very into getting involved with their fans, and the community and helping out where they can be it bringing to light breast exams with Susan G. Komen, visiting the troops overseas, or helping out with an anti-bullying campaign with Be A STAR. WWE and their superstars are all about what more they can do besides entertaining us.

WWE and NBCUniversal have come together to air “For The Hero In All Of Us” which will be shown across NBCUniversal’s two different broadcast networks, 17 cable channels and more than 50 other digital properties, that’s in addition to the platforms WWE uses as well.

By using the #MyHerois hastag the WWE Universe can tell WWE and NBCUniversal as well as other fans, who their favorite WWE Superstar is as well as share stories heroism either that they have personally encountered or that they know of. Advertisers are also encouraged to work with NBCUniversal and WWE in a way to reach new audiences and platforms. There are larger ways advertisers can combine with NBCUniversal, WWE and their audience as well as having access to many of the WWE Superstars and Diva’s for campaigns.

Who is your hero?  Is it a WWE Superstar?  I can tell you, although I’m personally not a huge John Cena fan, if I had to pick a hero, it would be him.  Why?  Because he’s helped me to better my health, he’s helped me to see how to get healthier in my life, with his Changetime program, John Cena is my hero.  Check out the #MyHeroIs hashtag on twitter, and check out who other fans heroes are, as well as who some of the WWE Superstars have as a hero.

If you are not currently a WWE fan, you may not know how valued the company is within the community, with the help of NBCUniversal it can now be knows how family friendly and how involved WWE is to families, communities and more.

There’s already been an advantage for different advertisers that you may not have thought would be working with WWE, take the “Champions of Fatherhood” series and the “Heroes of Tomorrow” campaign, things you may have not thought WWE was involved in.

FREE WWE Network, Extreme Rules, Tough Enough and more from WWE this April!

Written by lyricsmama on April 17, 2015 – 7:29 AM -

wweextremerules

April is a busy month for WWE and WWE fans! First off, WWE is offering WWE Network to new subscribers for FREE this month! That’s right, if you have not yet checked out WWE Network now is your chance to do so. Not only do you get original WWE programming and tons of matches to watch all month, but you also get this month’s PPV event Extreme Rules!

Normally WWE Network is just $9.99 (in the USA) but if you have not yet subscribed this month you can get for FREE, and the great thing, there’s no commitment, so you can cancel at any time!

Speaking of Extreme Rules, this is one PPV event I’m excited for, not only because it’s going to be amazing but because thanks to WWE I’ll be there LIVE in Chicago at All State Arena representing the WWEMoms! If you don’t have the network, now’s your time to get it so you can at least spot me in the crowd!

Tough Enough 2015

This month WWE also announced the return of Tough Enough June 23rd. If your not familiar with Tough Enough, this is another WWE reality show where participants go through training and competitions to win a contract with the WWE. This will be the 5th season of Tough Enough and will be revived on the USA network and paired with WWE Raw. Think you have what it takes to be a WWE Superstar? You can apply for Tough Enough 2015 on the USA Network’s website here. You can also catch up on the past seasons of Tough Enough on WWE Network, where you will see some familiar Superstars.

WWE has also announced this month that in 2016 Smackdown will be moving to the USA Network! That means both Raw and Smackdown will be hosted on the same network. I told you, it’s been a busy month for WWE and fans….

xaviersign

Now I’m getting my mind going, and thinking about just what sign I’ll be bringing to Extreme Rules! Any suggestions? Watch for the sign on April 26th at Extreme Rules on WWE Network.

The Flintstones and WWE: Stone Age Smackdown

Written by lyricsmama on March 23, 2015 – 10:31 PM -

The_Flintstones_&_WWE-_Stone_Age_SmackDown

We all know I have a love for wrestling, and that includes everything and anything WWE, including their animated movies and shows. Yup, you can catch me watching WWE with Scooby Do, WWE Slam City, and now The Flintstones and WWE: Stone Age Smackdown.

In fact I was so excited to watch it, I brought it into the first grade classroom I volunteer in for a Friday treat. The kids were so excited! They kept saying they saw this movie on TV and couldn’t wait to watch it! It was a show they loved, and were entertained with. It was super cute! My two girls were even fans when we watched it at home that weekend as well.

About The Flintstones and WWE: Stone Age Smackdown:
When Fred loses his family’s vacation money, he hatches one of his hair brained plans to get it back. It’s a sports entertainment spectacle that involves throwing his best bud, Barney into the wrestling ring with the likes of John Cenastone (John Cena), Rey Mysteriopal (Rey Mysterio) and even The Undertaker, with Fred himself as event promoter! The crowds roar, the “clams” are pouring in from ticket sales and even Mr. McMagma (Vince McMahon) is taking notice of all the hoopla. Including all-star appearances from The Boulder Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) Marble Henry (Mark Henry) and Daniel Bry-Rock (Daniel Bryan), it’s time to get the whole family together for hard-hitting, side-splitting laughs from the most epic event in all of prehistory!

Yes, you’ll see a couple of wrestlers who are no longer with the WWE, but it’s still great fun, and they’re still characters kids know and identify with.

Your whole family will enjoy this movie, even if they’re not die hard WWE fans like my family, it’s a great choice for a family night!

One of my favorite times of the year, no it’s not my birthday, it’s not Christmas…..It’s WRESTLEMANIA!!!

The Superbowl of Wrestling is THIS SUNDAY and you can catch it for just $9.99 on the WWE Network! This is the cheapest yet for a Wrestlemania. Why pay more when you can watch it online, on your TV, on your mobile device, just about anywhere for just $9.99?!?! Never mind the other great hours and hours of WWE content you’ll have access to, plus you can cancel at any time, but why would you want to?

Anyways, Wrestlemania is underway, here’s the full card for the night (not in order)
– Brock Lesnar (with Paul Hayman) Vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
– Sting vs. Triple H
– Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal
– Bad News Barrett vs. R-Truth Vs. Dean Ambrose Vs. Luke Harper Vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Stardust vs. Daniel Brian in a Ladder Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
– The Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt
– Rusev vs. John Cena for the WWE United States Championship
– AJ Lee and Paige vs. The Bella Twins
– Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins (with Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury)
– Tyson Kidd and Cesaro (with Natalya) vs. Los Matadores (with El Torito) vs. The New Day vs. The Usos in a Fatal 4-way tag team match for the WWE Tag Team Championship

I’d rather BE at Wrestlemania 31, but there’s no chance in that happening, so we’ll be sitting in front of our TV watching it starting at 5:00pm with a 2-hr pre-show, and Wrestlemania starting at 7pm.

69 and Ripped! Vince McMahon On The Cover Of Muscle and Fitness

Written by lyricsmama on February 19, 2015 – 11:58 AM -

Amazing! Simply Amazing! Vince McMahon, WWE Chairman and 69 years old, made the cover of Muscle and Fitness Magazine’s March issue. He looks great!

mufit

I found the magazine a few days ago while on a shopping trip, and was amazed at how fit Mr. McMahon is!

Inside the magazine WWE’s Chairman not only shows off his chiseled physic but he also includes some of his current workouts. WWE COO Triple H and his wife (and Vince’s Daughter) graced the cover of Music and Fitness December 2014 cover. Currently Triple H is the editorial advisor to Muscle & Fitness while Stephanie is the same to Shape magazine.

What do you think of Vince’s cover? Shocked at how good a 69 year old can look? You can pick up the March 2015 issue now.

To see tweets from Superstars about the cover click here.

Don’t forget, February is FREE for new subscribers of the WWE Network. You can watch Fast Lane as well as other WWE Programming for FREE!! Click here for more info on WWE Network
