Survivor, it’s that season again where one of the most favorite reality shows hits the air and keeps families around the country on their toes watching. Can you believe Survivor is in it’s 32nd season?!?! Crazy that it’s been around for that many seasons, not a lot of shows can say that anymore.
Tonight was the season premier of Survivor on CBS. Contestants are on a journey over 39 days to test their strength and find out who will capture the title of Sole Survivor. There’s a lot to be looking forward to this season, if you didn’t watch tonight, check out the sneak peek of the episode below.
Tonight was a special 90-minute episode that featured one of the contestants dealing with ear pain, which resulted in a bug being in their ear (EW!). The contestants are in Cambodia on an island called Kaôh Rōng and the theme this season is “Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty”. As usual the contestants will battle harsh conditions and crazy weather resulting in one of the most grueling and physical seasons in the show’s history.
Each of the three tribes consist of 6 castaways that have similar characteristics which make their own tribe unique, be it high IQ, muscular physique or physical looks. Each tribe will be tested to see if there is any truth behind the talk that only certain people win Survivor.
The contestants this season include a former NBA champion, an Army veteran, a bounty hunter, an ER doctor, FBI agent, pro poker player, a Survivor superfan and a quantitative strategist.
Joseph Del Campo
The Brawn Tribe
The Beauty Tribe

Last year was the very first time we ever attended Monster Jam. Being as we’re a family of mostly girls (minus my hubby) it’s not really a thing we were ever big into, but we had the chance to go, and thought we’d take it, try something new. I’m so glad we did, we had a TON of fun!!
It’s crazy seeing these trucks go through their tricks, obstacles and driving around the track, crashing things, crushing things, and sometimes even themselves. Monster Jam is coming BACK to the Toledo Area to the Huntington Center March 4-6th.
Monster Jam® is blasting into 2016 with a new 10-city arena based, points-paying Monster Jam endurance showcase, featuring the biggest and best lineup of Monster Jam trucks highlighted by more of what the fans want to see…more racing, more freestyle, more donuts, more wheelies, more trucks, more action…#MoreMonsterJam!.
These select markets will also be treated to new competition vehicles such as extreme Monster Jam Speedsters and Monster Jam ATVs as they rip through the arenas during combative racing action. Headlining the tour will be eight of the best Monster Jam trucks and eight of the fiercest athletes competing against one another and against each Monster Jam branded trio of vehicles, to earn valuable points during each new event discipline.
How Monster Jam Events Work:
– At Monster Jam, monster trucks face off in two different forms of competition — side-by-side racing and freestyle:
Side-by-side racing – traditional bracket racing, where the first truck, with the least amount of penalties, crosses the finish line is declared the winner
Freestyle competition – allows drivers a limited amount of time on the open floor to show off their skills. In this category, the fans serve as the judge
– 2007 was the 25 year anniversary for the Grave Digger Team
– More than 4 million Monster Jam fans attend events each year worldwide
– The World Finals in Las Vegas, NV brings 24 of the top trucks in the world to compete for the World Freestyle and – – Racing Championships. Competitors are by invitation only.
– A monster truck race team will travel 45,000 Miles / 72,400 kilometers a year by land to attend events.
– Typical monster trucks cost $600,000 yearly to build, staff, compete, transport and maintain on the Monster Jam tour.
– Steel body full-size cars are the vehicles typically crushed during a monster truck event.
– Cars, as well as vans, buses, motor homes, airplanes and ambulances, are attained from local junkyards and returned after each event.
– Average number of cars crushed per year: 3,000
Opening Night tickets are just $15 – No code needed! Kids tickets start at $10 – no code needed. You can purchase tickets at ticketmaster.com.
Disclaimer: Weekday is defined as any show Monday through Thursday or Friday matinee. Discount does not apply to Rinkside, Front Row, or VIP seats. No double discounts. Service charges, handling, and facility fees may apply. Child discount applies for ages 2-12.
Honestly, if you’ve never been, try it out, it’s a lot more fun than you might think. It’s super loud, but exciting, and you’re in luck because I’m giving away a family 4 pack of tickets to the show at The Huntington Center in Toledo on March 4th at 7:00pm. Just enter via the Giveaway widget below, and be sure to finish the mandatory entry for all entries to be valid.

The new romantic comedy THE DOG WEDDING opens in theaters March 11. This fun, smart movie has something for everyone and is the first-ever film to explore the popular dog ‘puptials’ trend!
The film stars beautiful German acclaimed actress Rosalie Thomass, who was just awarded Best Actress at the Bayerische Filmpreis (Munich). Her Co-Star is World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler Matthew Bloom, known worldwide as Head Coach of WWE “NXT”, the fast-growing WWE brand, and popular WWE Network program.
The film is also the big screen debut for 100 canine couples who won “The Dog Wedding” Photo Contest. Over 500 photos of dogs in wedding attire, from 41 states and 12 countries, garnered 250,000 votes (including two from Sarah Jessica Parker). The winners, which total 3 million social media followers, include rescue ambassadogs Titus & Hailey, celebrity rescue Chloe Kardoggian and the inspirational Simon The Blind Pug. Their photos grace the film’s unique opening credit sequence.
Love at first sniff for two bulldogs sparks an unlikely romance between an overworked German businesswoman and an American wrestler in this bark-out-loud comedy. For the newly enlightened executive, sent to Arizona to close a pickle factory, their dog wedding becomes the surprise battleground to test her lifelong obedience to her CEO/father. Making her U.S. film debut, German star Rosalie Thomass plays opposite WWE’s Matthew Bloom, Bernhard Schütz and a delightfully eccentric cast.
The exclusive New York engagement begins March 11 at Cinema Village. The exclusive Los Angeles engagement begins March 18 at Laemmle’s Music Hall. The film’s Premium VOD pre-theatrical release begins February 12 on iTunes, Verizon Fios and Dish Network.
A share of every ticket sold benefits canine charities, including Canine Companions for Independence, Long Island Bulldog Rescue, MSPCA-Angell and Juno’s Place. Over $20,000 has been donated already from the film’s sold-out premieres.
